Basic Info Bio32 years old. Originally from Kalamazoo, MI, I lived in Austin for a year and in San Francisco (which I consider my true home) for 7. Right now I'm living in Barcelona, Spain where I've just finished the CELTA certificate for teaching English to foreigners. In January I'll be living in Bucharest, Romania for work. I continue to be the assistant editor of a scientific academic journal based in SF.
I am a jack of all trades. I can identify the newt in your pond, fix you up a nice website, organize and curate your collection of rare specimens/art/historical artifacts, handle bureaucracy, edit your paper, install an exhibit, teach, sew you a lovely shirt, cook you a nice meal and impress you with my mundane knowledge of stuff that doesn't matter - except history - that does matter. Unfortunately this also means I am "master of none," which is kind of a downer.
